PAIN MANAGEMENT: Learning How to Understand Pain & Minimize It

Workshop for Learning How to Understand Pain and Minimize It

Two-day Training Seminar

April 15 & 16, 2016 (Friday & Saturday)

Pain management is a major concern for all age groups. It is primarily a focus for prescription medications and over the counter remedies. There are also growing influences from Asian and ancient native methods, holistic applications and herbal awareness.

This 2-day seminar will explore the mind as the principle pain controller. For people to fully understand pain management it is critical to experience it. Not the pain, but specific mental training to manage the pain. Participants will learn and practice using techniques that are proven to be effective and completely sage.

No medications, needles or body manipulations are used. All that is required is your curiosity, imagination, ability to listen and desire to learn something different. The seminar has aspects of counseling, nursing, crisis interventions, caregiving, parenting and teaching, It is open to people seeking to broaden their healing skills and willing to find out what is possible.

continuing education credits available upon request. The seminar will be held in Kingwood, Texas at a site to be announced soon. Complimentary coffee and light refreshments will be available. Lunch is on your own.

Fee for the seminar is $249. Early registration fee prior to April 5th is $220. For more information and to register, please call Valerie at Allied Mental Health Services, 281-812-3322.
